All at Inter Ditton would like to congratulate young Tommy for making the Surrey County team after he went to the trials this morning, well done Tommy.
14th Febuary 2010
Inter lost 1-0 to Epsom Eagles this morning in a game of 2 halfs, Inter came out the blocks flying and played some lovely football, second half Epsom Eagles came back into the game and it was unfortunate that Inter conceded when they went down to 10 men after David went off injured and sub Arun came off injured too, the day didnt get any better when Tom also came off injured and we finished the game with only 9 men, we always have good games against Epsom and this was yet another good close game
7th Febuary 2010
Inter lost 3-0 to AFC Wimbledon this morning with a lackluster performance, the boys know they can play alot better than this and will look forward to playing better next week

The Youth team went down 3-2 today against Badshot Lea, After a poor first half from Inter Ditton where they found themselfs 2-0, they cam back strongly 2nd half but could quite peg back Badshot, Sam and Alfie B were the scorers
17th January 2010
After a long league lay off, we were glad to get back to playing league games, but we couldnt of asked for a harder team to play than league leaders Kempton park. Kempton have a 100% record so we knew it would be tough. It didnt help with going 1-0 behind early on thanks to a fortunate goal for Kempton, from there on in the boys gave a good account of themselfs and match Kempton for long periods, Kemptons better finishing was the difference in the end as they ran out 4-2 winners, but the Inter boys can look forward to the rest of the season knowing they will give any team a game on our day
3rd January 2010
We once again have the privilage of using Fulham FC training ground dome, where we had another 6 team tournament, this time the Inter Ditton Ebbs joined the 2 Inter Ditton team and also our friends from Tooting and Mitcham brought 3 strong teams down. There was some great football on show and not a bad word or tackle all afternoon, once again it was more about getting the boys playing football than the results, but it was good that a Inter Ditton team and a Tooting team both finished level on 12pts each after everyone had played 5 games. Thanks to everyone for turning up
29th December 2009
We had the privilage of using the Fulham FC training ground Dome so decided to invite a few teams down for a little 6 team tournament in aid of Charity, the results werent important, it was just about getting the boys away from the TV and their computer games. Everyone had a fantastic time. Everyone played everyone and they way it worked out, the last game of NPL v Inter was a winner takes all, Inter came out on top as they won 5 out of 5 but the real winner was football as everyone got on well
20th December 2009
Inter Dittons Youth home game versus Tooting and Mitcham was called off this morning due to a frozen pitch, our friends from Tooting joined us in the club house for a few pre Xmas drinks and then Inter Ditton held their Xmas party, Merry Xmas everyone and a Happy and Healthy New Year
13th December
The Youth team carried on their lastest good fom, by beating Barnes Eagles away 3-2 this morning, on a pitch that wasnt great for our passing game, the boys had to battle and roll up their sleves against a Barnes team that never gave up,Sam, Arun and Alfie B getting the goals
12th December 2009
The Inter Ditton boys enjoyed a great Saturday afternoon today when the Youth and Ebbs teams went ice skating at the National History Museum (pictures to follow), with a massive thanks to Deans auntie Lisa for organising the tickets, its very much appreciated, some boys were natruals where others got better as they got use to the ice, the same cant be said of the Youth team manager ;-)
29th November 2009
Inter Ditton boys beat Barnes Eagles today by 2 goals to 1, Inter started off brightly, but it was Barnes who went in 1-0 up at half time, the boys came out determined in the 2nd half and totally dominated and scoring 2 goals
22nd November 2009
Inter Dittons game this morning against Epsom Eagles was abandoned after 10 mins due to terrible weather conditions with the scores level at 1-1, Inter started brightly and with the wind against Inter, tore into Epsom Eagles from the off,a well worked goal by Sam resulted in Inter taking a 1-0 lead, but Epson came roaring back and equalised with their first attack before heavy rain and hail stones forced the ref to abandon the game

25th October 2009
Inter Ditton Youth ran out 1-0 winners this morning in a closely fought contest against our close neighbours and friends from Molesey, Toby Brown getting the all important winner near the end, all boys deserve alot of credit as we only had the bare 11 on a very big pitch
18th October 2009
Inter Ditton Youth made their longest trip of the season today when they travelled down to Bad Shot Lea, after a great strike by Tommy, Inter conceded before half time to gointo the break at 1-1. Some slack marking allowed Badshot to come back to go 3-1 infront, but the determination of the Inter boys, got them back into the game with Alfie Broadbent, and a 2nd goal from Tommy, earned a well deserved point
16th October 2009
All at Inter Ditton wish Inters playmaker, Toby Brown a very happy birthday
14th October 2009
All at Inter Ditton wish Inters No.1 Mason a very happy Birthday
11th October 2009
Inter Ditton Youth lost 3-0 today, but the scoreline didnt really reflect how well they played, with the score being 0-0 with 10 mins left, an injury to David ment Inter going down to 10 men, and Leatherhead took full advantage with 3 late goals
4th October 2009
Inter Ditton went down 5-0 today against table topper Kempton Park, Kemptons finishing was the main difference as they raced into a 4-0 half time lead, theInter boys battled hard second half in an even second period
4th October 2009
After a hard fought 1st Half the EBB's team put on a great 2nd half display to run out 8 - NIL winners. Credit to the boys for a good all round performance. Manager's man of the match Callum Barnett for 2 great goals and battling hard.
Well done also to Luke Tinniswood for gaining the confidence to play so soon after a nasty near miss injury on Saturday.
27th September 2009
Youths bow out of the cup
Inter Ditton went out of the league cup today against AFC Wimbledon, the boys never got any decisions going their way and although the score line was 4-1, it was a closer game than the score line suggests
27th September 2009
Ebbs continue their winning ways by winning 20-0 (yes twenty!) at home to Chobham, continuing their positive opening to the season. Let's hope it continues! All boys are to be congratulated on a fine performance. Thanks to Chobham for their sportsmanship and their commitment to the end.

Boys get their hands on the FA Cup
Most of the youth team along with Aaron from the colts went down to Fulhams training ground tonight where the FA Cup roadshow rolled into town,
The boys really enjoyed the night with then shooting into the speed cage to find out how hard their shots were and to be videoed scoring a goal that was to be edited to look like they had scored the winner in the FA Cup final and then to get their hands on the FA Cup , to once again look like they were at Wembley picking the cup up, even some of the dads and mums got in on the act, although their goal celebrations need some work to put it nicely
Well done to Adrian who got the highest speed cage shot out of the parents

Youth team win with an impressive performance
A very good Brunswick boys club came over to Ditton rec to take on the Youth and Colts team, the youth stood and watched as Brunswick played some lovely one touch football against the Colts. We told the boys that we had to press the ball nice and early and high up the pitch to stop them playing and earn the right to play ourselfs. They must of listened as we got about Brunswick early on.We pressed high up the pitch and Brunswick were finding it hard to get out their half. The boys were making good decision making passes and played like a team, Jalen and Nic both got 2 goals each to run out 4-1 winners and the second half performance was outstanding. The only slight criticism was we tried to play 100 mile an hour football when we got in to a comfortable lead and could of relaxed on the ball a bit more at times, but this bunch of boys just love to attack and are still learning all the time.Hopfully we can only lerarn and get even better. Well done boys.
31st August Friendly v Tooting & Mitcham
The Colts played another friendly today against a combined Tooting & Mitcham side made up of their premier Elite and Premier North players. The boys were slow to start against good opposition and found themselves 2-0 down early on but gradually found their passing game, improving as the half progressed. Chances came as half time neared and we finished the first half on a high coming close to scoring on a number of occasions. At half time we talked about taking our time on the ball, good movement off the ball and picking our passes more carefully with an emphasis on using the width of the pitch to our advantage. This quickly came to fruition as we began to play the passing style of football we are so good at culminating in two well worked goals from Arun and Calum. Tooting then came back strongly and broke through to score at the other end before Charlie rounded off another good move to tie the match. We finished the game strongly looking the most likely team to win but time ticked away and the match ended all square.
Although we were never in front, it was very encouraging to see the boys didn't panic and kept playing attractive passing football in the belief it would pay off. There will be tough games in the season to come and this strong team spirit and self belief will hold them in good stead - well done Colts.
Thank you to Mason for helping us out with Harry away on holiday and for doing an excellent job, as always, between the sticks.
Youth team turn on the style
The Youth team was able to put out a team of just the youth players with the help of Joey and Steve. From the start it was good to see the boys hadnt forgotten how to play as a team despite the summer break. The football at times was excellent and the final score of 4-1 to the youth team didnt flatter them. They all took on board what i had said to them and maybe should of won by a few more.Tooting are a good side so to win 4-1 just goes to show how well they played. Thanks must go to Arun and Charlie from the Colts team who both played half a game each for the youth team.
24th August Youth and Colts combine to win again
With a lot of the boys still away on holiday, we once again combined both teams for a friendly against Corinthian Casuals. We played some nice football and played it out from the back really well. We started off better than last week and it's nice that the boys are listening and taking in all that we try to tell them. Final score today was 3-1.
Initial League Fixtures Posted
The West Surrey Youth League has posted the initial fixture lists for the Premier Elite and Premier North Leagues. These have been reproduced on our Fixtures webpage here.
17th August Youth and Colts combine for a friendly win 6-1
With many of the boys away on holiday, we decided to combine the 2 teams for a friendly against our near neighbours and friends from Esher Athletic. Anyone seeing the scoreline would think it was one way traffic, but that couldn't be further from the truth as Esher gave us a good test and it was Esher who started the better to go into a 1-0 lead. It was good to see our boys' heads didn't drop and they came back and took their chances well. Thanks to Esher for a good workout.

23rd July Youth unsuccessful in Woking Cougars Tournament
Despite once again only conceding 1 goal all afternoon, Inter Ditton Youth fail to progress out of their tough group.Missed chances in front of goal was the main reason, but they were the only side to beat Guildford Saints who are Surrey Primary Champions.
20th July 2008 COLTS FRIENDLY v EPSOM JUNIORS
The Colts played their first friendly today against Epsom Juniors and performed really well. Despite losing 4-3 to a lucky goal in the closing minutes the boys dominated large spells of the game and caused problems for an Epsom team who have played together much longer. Strong performances at he back and hard work in the midfield built a solid platform for the boys to lead 3-1 at one point with Calum doing particularly well in his first start up front. All in all, a very encouraging start against tough opposition - we will continue to improve and the results will follow - come on you Black & Blues!!
Thank you to all the parents for their help today and particularly to Neil Astley for doing an excellent job as the referee.

League Structures
The league structures for season 2008/09 have just come out, and the Youths will be competing in arguably the toughest division in Surrey, The Surrey Youth League Premier Elite
We were hoping the Colts would play in the Premier North but have been placed in Division one South. We have asked the league to reconsider as we feel the quality of boys we have got for the Colts should play in the Premier North.
Goodbye Shauny & Welcome Alfie
Most of the boys have now re signed for Inter Ditton youth for the 2008/09 season.
Young Shaun Masterson has left to join Shepperton Saints and we wish him and his family all the best for the future and look forward to playing Shepperton next season
We wasted no time in replacing Shaun and are delighted that we manage to sign Alfie Bulmer, Alfie is a fantastic prospect and we feel privileged that he has chosen to sign for us.It will be a tough job to fill Shauns boots but we have every confidence that Alfie can do a great job for us.
